**Job Summary:**

New Earth Residential is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs in our facilities, ensuring that all equipment and systems are running smoothly and efficiently. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems as needed.
- Respond promptly to service requests and maintenance emergencies.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to maintain facility operations.
- Order and maintain inventory for maintenance supplies and equipment as necessary.
- Participate in training programs to stay current with new technologies and maintenance practices.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- The Maintenance Technician will work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
- Physical demands may include lifting and carrying heavy objects, working at heights, and using ladders and scaffolding.
