**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for helping people, and a desire to contribute to the success of our property management efforts. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting our available properties, conducting property tours, processing rental applications, and ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants throughout the leasing process.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Customer Service:** Provide exceptional customer service to prospective tenants and current residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- **Property Tours:** Conduct property tours for potential residents, highlighting key features and benefits of the community and available units.
- **Leasing Process:** Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including preparing and presenting lease agreements, processing applications and deposits, and following up with leads.
- **Market Research:** Stay informed about local rental market trends, pricing, and competitor properties to effectively promote our available units.
- **Marketing:** Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract potential tenants through online and offline channels, including social media, property listings, and community events.
- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of leases, tenant interactions, and related documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with property management and maintenance teams to ensure resident satisfaction and effective communication regarding leasing activities.
- **Community Engagement:** Foster a sense of community among residents through events and activities that enhance tenant retention and satisfaction.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of local housing regulations and fair housing laws is a plus.
- A genuine interest in helping people find their ideal living situation.
